Biologic treatment of red lice with no chance of resistance
Insectosec is a unique agent for the extermination of red lice and other crawling insects. It distinguishes itself from other agents because its effect is mechanical instead of chemical. Insectosec consists of microscopically small fossiles, which scrape and dehydrate red lice. The red lice walk over the fossile powder, which makes them dry out and die. It is impossible for the red lice to build up resistance to this unique agent.
Insectosec can be applied by atomization, dilution by water, or electrostatically. Start the treatment at the start of a new round of poultry. The red lice are active because of the increased heat in the stable. This makes them more likely to come into contact with the Insectosec agent. Apply the Insectosec to walkways and hiding spots. Insectosec can keep a stable free of red lice for 2 to 3 months.
Take care to monitor the red lice population carefully and treat again, if needed, to keep the red lice in check.
It is safe to use Insectosec in the presence of poultry. They perceive no negative effects of the agent.
